I go to the best school ever :)

I love my school. What can I say? I just really love it. A whole lot.

I might have mentioned that I go to an online school called Williamsburg. It. Is. Amazing.

The people there are the BEST people alive. Oh my goodness. I just love them so much. They have all changed my life so much. I love their guts. :D :D :D :D

And the Mentors. They are my heroes. Seriously. I kid you not. They are amazing.

The things we learn and the way we learn....welllll......it's really hard. But the people here and the mentors here, what it's preparing us for and helping us to become, that is what makes all that hard work worth it. XD

I go to the best school ever. I just love it so much. The End of the end.

Unexpected Beauty

Today I went to the airport to pick something up that someone left on the plane.

As we were driving in to the airport.....the landscape was amazing, the mountains were towering over us, the sunlight was shining and making everything shiny, and the wind was blowing, and oh man, it was so beautiful.

We walked into the airport, the wind was blowing my hair making me look like a spy off on a secret mission. ;) And I had this huge grin on my face. I stumbled around on the flat escalators while giggling because I just don't get these things. ;)

I saw all the people lugging around their suitcases, off on their way to somewhere great. Some people had accents and some were rushing off to something important. Some were casually going about life. All while I had my huge grin painted on my face.

I loved it. I kept thinking to myself. "You've got twenty bucks in your pocket. Turn it into two thousand bucks. Book a flight and just go. Oh man, please just let me go. This is so beautiful. I probably look suspicious stumbling around like the klutz I am, and smiling like an idiot. Oh this is so awesome. I want to go on an adventure. Right now." I know. I think a lot.

People just don't understand. I told my mom when I was telling her about my trip to the mall and temple and such and I told her my favorite part was going to the airport. Her response? "The....airport?" Me: Yes mom. It was just SO beautiful. I need to travel. I need to travel right now. SOoooo bad." Mom: Well then save your money." She was obviously still in shock over my new found love of the airport. I then told my dad. Me: "Dad guess what! I went to the airport, it was SO beautiful " Dad *really confused look, probably thinking, "what are you on??"* What?...the airport?" Me: "Yes. It was so amazing." and meanwhile my sister is saying, "Yeah Dad, she's in love with the airport." Dad: "Okaaaay."

I know what you're thinking. That I'm crazy. But I am. All the best people are.

Allow me to shed some light on the subject......I have the NEED to travel and experience the world. It's like a chained, hungry beast inside of me that feeds off adventure. Going to the airport and seeing all those people off to their adventures, oh it made me so happy. The whole thing just put one big smile on my face.

You may not see the beauty in and airport. But I do. An airport connects one place to hundreds of other places in the world. There is so much potential and awesomeness there. Just think of all the stories that have gone on there, the people who have come back from epic adventures, all the adventure that it CAN take you on. I see the beauty in things that most people don't. Beauty is everywhere. All you have to do is open your eyes and see it.

Okay I'm done now. You can now go think about butterflies and fairies and eat chocolate to recover from this weirdness.

Love life. Embrace it. See the beauty. Smile. Be happy. Be you!

It's not enough to just dream about it......

Life has been so weird lately. It’s been up and down, happy, sad, overwhelmed, discouraged, and bursting with happiness, lost and just weird.

There has been this one thing on my mind lately that has thrown my life off the rails. I’ve been obsessed with it. It’s on my mind all day every day. It’s plaguing me. I’ve been trying so hard to write my thoughts down in this post. Needless to say I’ve been working on this post for weeks. This thing is DREAMS.

I am going to try to put my thoughts into words, so brace yourselves. :)

Dreams. They fascinate me. I’ve always been a big dreamer.  They give me hope when times are hard. They have filled my childhood with lasting memories. My dreams are part of me and I embrace them fully. They make me who I am and I love them. I’ve always known who I am and what I want. Even though sometimes I was not sure of who I am, I knew it somewhere inside of me. I dreamt of doing and being everything.

But what is a dream? Someone I know said something that I think describes a dream in the best way. “Their calling in life. Their purpose in life. Their personal legend. That one thing that you always truly wanted deep down inside……Everyone needs a dream. That is how all great things have been done.” I love that. The end. :)

So a dream is a direction in life, something you long for, something you hope to become, your purpose in life, something you want to do. A dream is, “Your personal legend.” :)

I decided to ask some amazing people what their biggest and wildest dream was, and what dream was the most important to them. Their dreams were all beautiful, they all inspire me. :) Dreams are what make us who we are. Every dream is unique. Some dreams are shared with others, some are only ours, but each one is a dream and in that, it is one of the most beautiful things ever.

Life is about becoming who God created you to be. A dream is a glimpse of who you are and can become. Dreams are a part of life. Everyone has a dream and everyone is worthy of their dreams.

Dreams are great. But it’s not enough to just dream about it. 

If you have a dream, you've got to go for it. Make it come true. Just do it.

I think that there are a few essential to dreaming and making your dreams come true…..

#1  Know who you are.

Discovering who you are, and who you were made to be is a life long journey. But you should always know who you are. I challenge you all, if you are not sure who you are, or want to know more about who you are, take a paper and a pencil, write down you passions, things you like, hobbies, your dislikes, write about you. Make a bucket list. Explore yourself. Knowing who we are is how dreams are formed.

#2   Dare to Dream.

You have to dare to dream and have the courage to dream. Sometimes I think people are afraid to dream because they are afraid of facing themselves, and commitment and are afraid that they will not be able to make that dream come true. Nothing is impossible, as long as you have the courage to pursue it. So get dreaming and Dream big. :)

#3   Recognize your dream.

You have to recognize your dream. Make a mental blueprint of your dream, or better yet, write it down. Robert Collier said, “Visual this thing you want. See it, feel it, believe in it. Make you mental blueprint and begin." Recognize your dream, visualize it, see it, feel it, and believe in it, plan and make your dreams come true.

#4 Embrace your dream.

Once you have a dream…..embrace it. Turn it into a burning desire. Long for it and love it. Love it so much and want it so badly that nothing can stop you. You'll be unstoppable like a wildfire. 

 #5 Dreams without goals are just wishes.

Make a plan. How will you make your dreams come true? Set goals. Do everything to make your dreams come true.

#6 Go for it.

If you have a dream, you've gotta go for it. Just do it. Don’t wait for the perfect time, the time is now. It doesn't matter what people say. They can tell you your dream is stupid, impossible  or unrealistic. Who cares what they say. You've got a dream, you’re unstoppable. So, go make you dreams come true. Dreams don't come true unless you make them come true. :) 

Okay here's the challenge, Pick up some paper, write about yourself, your dreams, be specific, make plans, set goals, love life. :) 

Life is beautiful. Dream big. Embrace life. Smile. Make your dreams come true. Be happy. Be you. :) 

Let's make our dreams come true! Inspire others to make their dreams come true! We can do this together. :) Spread it like a wildfire.
